The holy Gaon Rabbi Chaim Yudah Braun [1896-1944] the son-in-law of the holy Rebbi Yitzchak Yechiel of Des. The disciple of the holy Gaon the Arugas HaBosem of Chust. Rosh Yeshiva at the yeshiva of his father in law in Des and eventually the Rabbi of Iklod near Szamosujvar. Taught many students, including many rabbis of Hungarian cities and communities. He perished with his entire family in the Holocaust.
