Williams & Humbert Ltd The Sherry Girl Advertising Figurine - A Staffordshire glazed ceramic advertising figurine for Williams & Humbert Ltd, depicting The Sherry Girl. The figure is modelled in a Victorian-style green dress with a white tied apron and a red and white bonnet with earmuffs. She is shown holding a white scalloped tray containing a tan sherry bottle and two small filled glasses. The base is finished in deep red with the title The Sherry Girl hand-painted in white script to the front. The underside of the base features black printed marks including the title The Sherry Girl in a script font within quotation marks, above the text Registered Trade Mark of WILLIAMS & HUMBERT LTD. The lower section is marked STAFFORDSHIRE ENGLAND in an arched format. A small hand-painted red v-shaped mark is also present on the base.
