Planters Mr. Peanut Cast Metal Still Bank - A cast metal still bank in the form of the Planters Peanuts mascot, Mr. Peanut. The figure is constructed in two parts joined by a single screw to the reverse and is depicted in characteristic attire including a top hat, monocle, gloves, and spats, while holding a walking cane. The figure features a black-painted finish to the hat, limbs, and base, with a cream-painted textured shell torso and gloves. Embossed cream-painted lettering on the front of the hat rim reads MR • PEANUT and the front of the circular base is embossed with PLANTERS. A coin slot is located on the reverse of the peanut shell. The underside of the base shows a split seam from the casting process. Height: Approximately 8.25 inches.
