PREMIER CYCLES Graphic Art Poster - A large scale lithographic advertising poster for Premier Cycles of Coventry and London. The illustration depicts an Edwardian era pastoral scene featuring a man in a brown suit and flat cap holding a safety bicycle, while a woman in a long skirt and feathered hat lights his pipe. A second bicycle is visible in the background against a landscape containing a cottage and a large watermill. The upper section displays the title PREMIER CYCLES in stylized red lettering. The lower margin is marked COVENTRY & LONDON and includes a Royal Warrant crest featuring three ostrich feathers emerging from a coronet with a ribbon bearing the motto ICH DIEN. Below the crest is the printed text BY SPECIAL APPOINTMENT. The poster is housed in a dark-stained oak frame with a gilt-finished inner slip and is protected by glass.
