New York: Brentano's, 1929. Hardcover. Near Fine. First edition, preceding the trade edition. Bookplate on the front fly, moderate darkening to the spine, and a slight scuff on the rear board, near fine in vellum with gilt lettering and decoration as issued. Copy 224 of 300 numbered copies Signed by the author. Original calling card from the publisher laid in, signed by Brentano's sales person. A nice copy of the author's only limited edition, her second acknowledged book, after *She Walks in Beauty*, and her repudiated first novel *Whither*.
