Beautiful tractate of Talmud Zevochim and Menochos. Vienna. 1797.
This edition was printed in Vienna on the same layout as hat been printed prior in Frankfurt d’maine and in Amsterdam. But as noted in the forward this edition had added more commentries so as the poor students would not have to go out to buy separate seforim, books.
Printed on thick yellow paper, water stains. Last page of Menochos is set up differently to the modern page lay out of the same page as seen in attachments.
Printed by the Royal German and Hebrew bookbinder and dealer Josef Hershanskie, Vienne.
rebound and previously owned by the British Museum and transferred out of their ownership in 1889
