A glass Galileo thermometer with five multi-coloured floats - A decorative glass Galileo thermometer comprising a sealed clear glass cylindrical tube with a tapered point to the top and an integrated circular flared base. The cylinder is filled with a clear liquid containing five spherical glass floats, each filled with a different colour of liquid including dark blue, green, amber, red, and light blue. Each float has a circular metal tag suspended from a small ring, stamped with temperature increments in degrees Celsius: 26, 24, 22, 20, and 18. The instrument is designed to indicate ambient temperature through the buoyancy of the internal spheres as the density of the surrounding liquid changes.
