A Philips UltraPhil ultraviolet sunlamp - A Philips UltraPhil ultraviolet sunlamp, mid-20th century. The lamp features a grey-painted conical metal shade with integrated ventilation louvres and a polished metal internal reflector. It is mounted on a brushed aluminium U-shaped bracket that allows for tilt adjustment, fixed to a circular grey-painted metal base. The base retains a red and white Philips shield-shaped adhesive label marked Made in Gt Britain. The lamp is fitted with a Philips MLU 300W 220-240V ultraviolet bulb, marked Made in Holland. The unit includes a grey power cord and a vintage white UK three-pin plug.
