A Collection of Vintage Brass and Metalware Decorative Items - A collection of decorative metalware comprising various vintage household ornaments and curios. The lot features a brass cased thermometer in the style of a pocket watch, decorated with engraved scrollwork and containing a cream dial with floral sprays and dual Celsius and Fahrenheit scales. Also included are two brass table gongs, one in a rectangular frame and another pedestal type etched with a three-masted sailing vessel. The assortment further contains a dark-patinated metal figure of the Greek goddess Athena standing on a red-veined marble base with a metal plaque, a cast brass John Bull figure with a Union Jack waistcoat, two character jugs depicting a pirate and a full-body figure, two small imp figurines, a brass eagle on a rocky base, a small dark metal vase with engraved bands, and a cylindrical brass canister with a shell finial to the lid. The Athena figure base is inscribed ATHENA / 400 B.C. / MADE IN GREECE. The thermometer dial is printed with Thermometer, C, and F.
