T.J. & J. Mayer Smalt Blue and White Parian Ware Grapevine Vase - A T.J. & J. Mayer Parian ware vase manufactured at the Dale Hall Pottery, Burslem. The cylindrical form is composed of a smalt-blue body decorated in high white relief with a continuous design of trailing grapevines, comprising clusters of grapes, large leaves, and coiled tendrils. The flared and scalloped rim features pierced foliate and scroll detailing. The piece is unmarked to the base and is accompanied by a handwritten identification note.
