A Pair of DC Comics Action Comics Decorative Storage Boxes - A pair of rectangular storage boxes with lids constructed from stiff fibreboard. The exterior of each box is finished with a high-gloss, collage-style printed paper wrap featuring various early covers of Action Comics published by DC Comics. The design includes iconic imagery from Action Comics No. 1 (June 1938), featuring the first appearance of Superman, and No. 27 (August 1939). The decorative wrap depicts Superman in various action sequences alongside original logos and text. Each box is fitted with metal bail handles on the sides and is reinforced with metal rivets at the structural joints. The interiors are finished with a plain white paper lining.
