A Set of Four Whitall Tatum and Company Glass Apothecary Jars 22cm - A set of four antique pharmaceutical shop-round jars produced by Whitall Tatum and Company. Each vessel is crafted from transparent mould-blown glass and is accompanied by a matching mushroom-shaped ground-glass stopper. The jars feature shield-shaped pharmaceutical labels protected under a layer of glass, decorated with gilded and red borders. The labels are printed in black text and identify the contents as Pulv: Myrrhae., Phenacetin., Pulv: Nux Areca, and Calcii Lact:. The base of each jar is embossed with the manufacturer mark W.T. & Co. U.S.A.
