Contemporary Patinated Sculpture of a Woman in Sardinian Costume 36cm tall - A cast sculpture of a woman in stylized Sardinian dress, featuring a face with closed eyes enveloped in a structural hood and cowl. The headgear is characteristic of traditional Orgosolo costume. The piece is finished with a dark olive-green and black patina, showing wear to the high points revealing a lighter tone beneath. The interior of the hood is detailed with a fine cross-hatched texture. A circular relief motif with radiating lines is featured on the side of the cowl. The sculpture stands on an integral flared base. No signatures or foundry marks are visible.
