Belgian RTT-56 Copper Toned Metal and Bakelite Rotary Dial Telephone - A Belgian State Telecommunications (RTT) model RTT-56 rotary dial telephone. The instrument features a copper-toned metal housing with a black Bakelite handset and base plate. The front of the casing displays a circular metal emblem with an intertwined RTT monogram. The base plate is stencilled in white RTT-56. This unit has been adapted for the UK market, fitted with a modern black PVC line cord and a British Telecom plug. The rotary dial features a centre card printed Classic Connections with emergency service instructions and a local telephone number 0254 263119. The handset is connected by a brown braided textile cord.
