A good sized Merrythought Alpha-Farnell limited edition mohair teddy bear 60cm tall - A fully jointed mohair teddy bear produced by Merrythought as part of a limited edition series reviving the historic Alpha-Farnell brand. The bear is constructed from golden mohair plush with beige felt paw and sole pads. It features a five-way jointed body, amber and black glass-style eyes, and hand-stitched black thread nose, mouth, and claws. A rectangular woven label is stitched to the left sole reading Made in England by Alpha-Farnell. Two white fabric tags are attached to the side seam, one stating Edition strictly limited by Merrythought with the facsimile signature of Oliver Holmes, and the second identifying the manufacturer as Merrythought, Ironbridge, Shropshire, England, including a CE mark and cleaning instructions.
