An German art pottery vase - An German art pottery vase, form number 128. The stoneware body is designed with a wide, conical base tapering into a cylindrical neck with a flared rim. The exterior decoration comprises a central band of turquoise blue glaze with a crackle finish and embossed dark blue stylised scroll and spiral motifs. The neck and foot are finished in a coarse, sandy beige textured glaze, while the interior is coated in a dark matte glaze. The underside is incised with the form number 128, the letter F, and the mark GERMANY.
