Each piece is decorated with transfer-printed clusters of burgundy, pink, and yellow roses with green foliage, finished with hand-applied sponged gold-gilt rims. The bases feature the Royal Albert Old Country Roses backstamp with the copyright date 1962. The collection comprises a miniature lidded preserve pot with a matching circular stand, a small rectangular dish with scalloped edges, a circular lidded trinket box, and two circular pin dishes. Included are two original Royal Albert cardboard presentation boxes featuring the pattern design.
