The clock features a hand painted sculpted resin case in the form of a railway station cottage. The circular black dial has silver tone baton hour markers and silver tone hands, surmounted by a silver tone arch titled Flying Scotsman. The case includes a static model of the LNER 4472 Flying Scotsman locomotive to a central platform and a smaller train on a circular track at the base that emerges from two tunnels. The clock is powered by a quartz movement requiring one 1.5V AA battery and two 1.5V D batteries, or a 1.5V AA battery if used with a power adapter. The reverse is fitted with a gold printed label stating Bradford Editions Memories of Steam Flying Scotsman Clock, an authentic original, crafted in an exclusive design to the highest quality and artistic standards of The Bradford Group. It also features the Flying Scotsman silhouette logo with copyright NMSI 2007 and the model number 426-B3926.01.
