A pair of Egyptian Revival style seated Sekhmet figurines - A pair of Egyptian Revival style figurines, each modelled as the goddess Sekhmet seated upon a block throne. The figures are depicted with lioness heads and topped with solar disks featuring uraei cobras. They are constructed from a cast composite material with a green verdigris patinated finish. The figures are seated in a traditional Egyptian pose with hands resting on their knees. No maker's marks or signatures are visible. Each figure has a small aperture in both ears.
