The work is signed HARRY STICKS. in block capitals in the lower left corner. The reverse bears a printed rectangular dealer label for GEORGE HUGHES, FINE ART DEALER, BEWICK HOUSE, 50 & 52, PILGRIM STREET, NEWCASTLE-ON-TYNE and a yellow adhesive inventory sticker reading 61436.
