A G.L. Ashworth & Bros. Ltd Ironstone Utility Bowl Dated 1950 - A Hanley cream-glazed ironstone utility bowl. The large circular vessel is designed with a deep tapered body and a wide flared rim. The base features a black transfer-printed mark consisting of the royal cypher G VI R beneath a crown, followed by the text G.L. ASHWORTH & BROS. LTD, HANLEY, and the production year 1950.
