A Pair of Birmingham Sterling Silver (Weight removed) Candlesticks circ 67.8g net - A pair of sterling silver candlesticks in the Georgian style. Each piece features a flared candle nozzle over a knopped stem, supported by a spreading circular base decorated with a beaded border. The undersides are open, revealing the internal structure consistent with weighted silver hollowware. On the lower edge of each base, a series of stamped marks is visible: a rectangular mark with the initials A.T.C, followed by three separate shield-shaped marks containing an anchor, a lion passant, and a lowercase s in a shaped cartouche.
