The 9ct gold pendant is set with a single oval cabochon-cut opal displaying pale opalescence. The stone is secured in a rub-over mount within a decorative twisted rope border. The pendant is suspended from a tapered bail which features impressed marks. The necklace is presented in a black velvet-lined case.
