A British Military Moise Dreyfus Mark II Pocket Stopwatch dated 1916 - A British military issued open face pocket stopwatch in a nickel or silvered base metal case. The white enamel dial features a 60-second outer track with Arabic numerals and a red 60 at the twelve o clock position. A subsidiary 30-minute recording dial is positioned at the top, graduated with numerals 3 through 27 and a red 30. The watch is operated via a top-winding crown and a sliding side lever for start and stop functions. The case back is engraved with the name Moise Dreyfus above a British military broad arrow pheon symbol, followed by Mark II, No 3135 and the date 1916. The side of the case features an engraved sliding lever marked STOP and GO-ON. The movement is a manual wind, stem-wound mechanism with a side-lever start/stop.
