An Antique Swiss Open Face Silver Pocket Watch - This is an antique open-faced pocket watch featuring an engine-turned silver case with a central vacant cartouche framed by a garter design. The watch has a white enamel dial with black Roman numeral hour markers and a railroad-style outer minute track, including a recessed subsidiary seconds dial at the 6 o'clock position with Arabic numerals. The internal case back is marked with an incised rectangular frame containing the digits 0,935. Below this are three small stamps; one is a shield-shaped mark and the two below are partially rubbed marks featuring a standing animal. The digits 11 are also scratched into the interior case back. The manual wind, bridge-style lever movement features a regulator scale engraved with the words FAST and SLOW. The case is finished with a knurled gold-tone crown and a circular bow.
