Antique African Ngbandi Tribal Spear
Antique Ngbandi spear is over 100 years old and originates from Northern Congo and was acquired from an old Belgian collection. The sword was collected in the 1920s colonial period. Measures approx 63" L overall when assembled. The spear comes apart in two pieces for shipping. The wrought iron forged blade measures approx 27 1/4" L and 2 1/2" W at the widest and spike handle end measures approx 37" L. The wood handle of this spear has copper and iron spiral wrapping with forged iron reinforcement. Some of the copper wrapping is loose as seen in photos. This spear is an authentic antique Ngbandi double pointed spear.
