The face of the stone is engraved in intaglio with Arabic calligraphy in Nasta'liq script. The inscription is divided into two horizontal registers by a central bar and features a devotional Quranic verse from Surah Ghafir (40:44): Wa uffawidu amri ilallahi inna Allaha basirun bi-l-ibad (And I entrust my affair to Allah. Indeed, Allah is Seeing of His servants). The ring reflects traditional Persian jewellery craftsmanship, commonly employed for personal seals or as protective talismans.
