AN INDIAN MUGHAL BONE HORSE-HEAD DAGGER HILT, 19TH CENTURY OR LATER. - A carved bone dagger hilt fashioned in the form of a horse's head with elongated neck and finely incised mane. The head features carved eyes, ears and muzzle, while the lower section terminates in a stylised scroll-form pommel. Constructed from multiple fitted sections of bone displaying natural cream and honey-coloured tones throughout. L: Approximately 14.5cm
