A COLLECTION OF FIVE ANCIENT GREEK LEAD LOOM WEIGHTS, CIRCA 5TH–3RD CENTURY BC. - A collection of five Ancient Greek lead loom weights of tapering pyramidal form, each pierced near the top with a pair of suspension holes for attachment to warp threads. The weights display a buff to light brown earthenware body with varying degrees of surface wear and encrustation consistent with age. Each example is individually hand-formed and exhibits slight variations in size and shape. H: Approximately 5.2cm
