AN OMANI SILVER MOUNTED SAIDI KHANJAR DAGGER AND SCABBARD, SIGNED ABDULLAH, 19TH-20TH CENTURY. - An Omani khanjar and matching scabbard of Saidi form. The hilt and scabbard are constructed with a solid core entirely encased in white metal, likely silver or high-grade silver plating. The hilt features the characteristic wide, scalloped pommel with central raised bosses and a waisted grip. The scabbard is of a traditional curved form with a rounded chape. The entire exterior is decorated with intricate traditional Omani metalwork, including fine wire filigree, dense granulation creating geometric patterns, and repoussé work. The central panel of the scabbard features a stylized floral spray within an arched border.  H: Approximately 42cm
