The principal inscription appears to commence with the Basmala (Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim) and continues with passages believed to derive from Ayat al-Kursi (Qur'an 2:255), one of the most revered and frequently inscribed verses in Islamic art, renowned for its protective and spiritual significance.
