A QAJAR EROTIC MINIATURE PAINTING, 19TH CENTURY. - An erotic miniature painting executed in opaque watercolour on paper, originating from 19th-century Qajar Persia. The composition depicts a domestic interior where a man in cream-coloured trousers and brown boots lifts a partially unclothed woman in a red jacket. The figures display characteristic Qajar stylistic traits, including heavy, joined eyebrows and almond-shaped eyes. The setting includes a lavender-patterned wall, a wooden chair with an orange seat, and a discarded blue garment on the floor. An open window in the background, draped with a red curtain, looks out onto a landscape with trees and a cloudy sky. The work is set into a buff-coloured window mount.  Approximately 16.5 x 11.5cm
