A TRIO OF QAJAR EROTIC MINIATURE PAINTINGS, 19TH CENTURY. - The works are rendered in gouache with gold leaf highlights on panels. Each miniature depicts a couple in an intimate scene, with the male figures wearing traditional Qajar-period attire, including characteristic tall black kolah hats. The compositions are framed by stylized red drapery and set against decorative backgrounds with gold-highlighted scrolling borders. The miniatures are housed in two matching light-coloured wooden frames with pale green card mounts.
