A Pair of Kinjo Hand-Painted Porcelain Nippon Vases - A pair of porcelain vases manufactured in Japan for the export market during the Nippon era, circa 1891–1921. Each vase features an amphora-like form with a flared rim and base, flanked by two curved handles finished with gold-toned highlights. The body is decorated with a mint green ground overlaid with intricate gold-colored scrollwork and floral motifs. The decoration includes alternating reserve panels: one depicting a hand-painted lakeside landscape at sunset with mountains in the background, and another featuring a vibrant floral bouquet. The panels are framed by white borders with gilded accents. The underside of each vase displays a blue backstamp with two stylized fish facing each other, positioned above the words HAND PAINTED and NIPPON. The mark is attributed to Kinjo.
