Royal Worcester Blush Ivory Hand Painted Porcelain Twin Handled Vase Shape 1684 - A late 19th-century Royal Worcester porcelain twin-handled vase designed in an ovoid amphora form with a flared, lobed rim and a pedestal foot. The vase features the factory signature blush ivory matte cream ground, decorated with hand-painted floral sprays of chrysanthemums in shades of russet, yellow, and pink with green foliage. The scroll handles, rim, neck, and base are accented with heavy gilding. The underside bears a purple printed factory mark featuring a crown above a circular device with four interlocking W letters, inscribed ROYAL WORCESTER ENGLAND. The center of the interlocking letters contains the characters 9 and 1. Below the factory mark is a printed rectangular box containing registration number Rd No 214561 and the shape number 1684. Additional hand-painted marks include a small blue 2 and an orange 5. Dimensions: Standard cabinet vase size.
