Charlotte Rhead Bursley Ware Art Deco Tube-Lined Earthenware Pitcher, Pattern TL14 - An earthenware pitcher designed by Charlotte Rhead for Bursley Ware. The ovoid vessel features a cream-colored ground decorated with a tube-lined floral motif. The design includes stylized tulips in orange and yellow, along with small blue and purple flowers, all set among green foliage. Geometric bands of alternating purple and blue diagonal stripes encircle the neck and base. The rim, spout, foot, and single loop handle are finished in a solid pale green glaze. The underside bears the hand-painted script marks Bursley-Ware, Charlotte Rhead, and England in brown. Additional markings include a hand-painted cross symbol over the pattern number TL14, a small dark mark, and the impressed number 181.
