Antique English Majolica Style Figural Pineapple Pitcher - This figural ceramic pitcher is designed in the form of a pineapple, created in the majolica tradition of the late 19th or early 20th century. The earthenware body features deep relief molding with a honeycomb pattern finished in a golden-yellow glaze to represent the exterior of the fruit. The neck and flared spout are molded as upright green leaves, and the handle is formed as a single green leafy stem. The piece is finished with characteristic vibrant lead glazes. The underside features a cream glaze with green accents on the foot rim and a central green splash. An incised character resembling the letter N is present on the base.
