Three Royal Doulton Lambeth Stoneware and Glazed Miniature Vases - A trio of miniature art pottery vases produced by Royal Doulton, England, in the early 20th century. The collection includes two examples of Lambeth stoneware and one example of variegated glazed art pottery. The first stoneware vase features an ovoid body with a flared, waisted neck finished in a deep cobalt blue glaze. The buff-colored stoneware body is decorated with sprigged and incised stylized floral and leaf motifs in shades of olive green and cream. The base is stamped with the Royal Doulton lion and crown mark and includes the incised shape number 8670 and the decorator initials BN, likely for Bessie Newbery. The center vase has a pear-shaped body with a long, tapered neck. It is finished in a high-gloss, variegated glaze with tones of turquoise and emerald green, exhibiting subtle crystalline or drip effects characteristic of Doulton art glaze experiments. The base carries the standard Royal Doulton lion and crown backstamp, the incised number 14, and the letter h. The second stoneware vase has an ovoid body and flared neck finished in a dark, forest green glaze. The buff stoneware body is ornamented with sprigged floral medallions and horizontal beaded bands. The base features the Royal Doulton factory mark, the incised shape number 769, and the decorator initials EB, likely for Ethel Beard.
