Three Bottles of Chateau de la Gardine Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Vintages 1982 and 1987 - This lot consists of three bottles of red wine from Chateau de la Gardine, a traditional producer in the Chateauneuf-du-Pape appellation of the Rhone Valley, France. The assortment includes one bottle from the 1982 vintage and two bottles from the 1987 vintage. Each bottle features the estate's distinctive proprietary shape, an asymmetrical heavy-set glass design. The shoulders are embossed with the words Mise du Chateau and the papal crest of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, depicting the papal tiara and crossed keys. The labels indicate the wine was selected by Vicomte Bernard de Romanet, a merchant based in St-Jean d'Ardieres, and bottled at the estate by G. Brunel et Fils. Each bottle has a volume of 750ml. The 1987 bottles indicate an alcohol content of 13.5 percent by volume.
