A 15-Piece Hudson and Middleton Sutherland Bone China Coffee Set - A 15-piece Hudson and Middleton bone china coffee service in the Sutherland Black Rose pattern. The service includes one tall lidded coffee pot, one cream jug, one open sugar bowl, six coffee cups, and six saucers. The set features a mid-century modern aesthetic with monochromatic transfer-printed rose and foliage motifs in black and gray against a white ground. The saucers and the coffee pot lid are finished in a solid high-gloss black glaze. Hand-applied gilt accents are present on the handles, rims, and the coffee pot lid finial. The underside of the pieces bears a black printed backstamp with Sutherland in an arc over a central graphic of a heraldic lion rampant flanked by the letters H and M, above the text Bone China and Made in England.
