A Set of Royal Worcester Fine Bone China Tableware in the Roanoke Pattern - This set of fine bone china is manufactured by Royal Worcester in the Roanoke pattern, design number Z 2827. The service features a white glazed ground decorated with transfer-printed floral bouquets containing pink roses, purple tulips, and blue forget-me-nots. Each piece is detailed with a hand-applied gilt rim and a subtly fluted or lobed body. The collection includes seven teacups, seven saucers, and one cream jug. The underside of the pieces bears a printed factory mark in black featuring a crown symbol above a circular monogram with the number 51 in the center, surrounded by the words Royal Worcester and Fine Bone China. Below this is a circled R, the word England in an arc, and the pattern name Roanoke and number Z 2827. The center number 51 serves as a date code indicating the pieces were produced in 1951. One saucer retains a blue circular paper label indicating it was inspected by PS. Many of the pieces remain in their original plastic protective sleeves.
