17-Piece Iridescent Luster Porcelain Tea Service with Gilded Floral Decoration - This 17-piece porcelain tea service is finished with an all-over iridescent opalescent luster glaze. The service comprises one teapot with a fitted lid, one lidded two-handled sugar bowl, one creamer, six teacups, and six saucers. The exterior surfaces of the hollowware and the face of each saucer are decorated with gold and muted gray transfer-printed floral sprigs. Heavy gilding is applied to the handles, rims, pedestal bases, and lid finials. The interior of the cups is finished in a plain white glaze. No maker marks or backstamps are visible.
