Regency Mahogany Sofa Table with Brass Lions Paw Casters - A Regency style mahogany sofa table featuring a rectangular top with two rounded drop-leaf ends. The frieze contains two drawers arranged side-by-side, each decorated with two circular brass ring-pull handles and a central brass-lined keyhole. The piece is supported by two broad, flat-faced sabre-style end supports connected by a central stretcher. Each support terminates in a pair of out-swept legs fitted with brass box casters in the form of lion's paws. The top and drawer fronts feature crossbanded or inlaid decorative borders.
