Moorcroft Pottery 2017 Tube Lined Blue Floral Earthenware Vase - A Moorcroft art pottery vase of bulbous form, tapering to a flared rim and supported by a slightly flared circular foot. The body is decorated with a tube-lined floral motif featuring stylized blue blossoms and green foliage set against a cream-colored ground, bordered by deep navy blue glazes. The base displays an impressed arching mark reading MOORCROFT MADE IN STOKE ONTRENT ENGLAND with a circled R trademark. Additional marks include an impressed five-pip die and a sailing ship, which is the official factory year mark for 2017. Hand-painted in green are the initials JS, a copyright symbol followed by the date 2017, and the initials KM.
