Fosters Pottery Celebration of Troika Cornwall Ceramic Wheel Vase - A ceramic wheel vase produced by Fosters Pottery Ltd. The piece features a circular, flattened form with relief-molded abstract and stylized figural decoration on both faces. The vase is finished in a textured volcanic glaze with a palette of green, brown, and gray tones. One side depicts a stylized human figure with a geometric headpiece and torso. The opposing side features a series of abstract panels, including stylized breasts at the top, a central floral medallion, and various geometric motifs. The base of the vase contains several markings, including the handwritten phrase A Celebration of Troika Cornwall and the number 74 written in two places. A circular blue ink stamp for Fosters Pottery Ltd Redruth Cornwall is located at the bottom center. A hand-painted black monogram or artist mark consisting of a stylized G or C with a crossing diagonal flourish is present on the base, and the initials CJ are visible at the bottom center-left of one decorative face.
