A Beswick Porcelain Greenall Whitley Brewery Dray Set with Two Shire Horses - This set comprises two Beswick porcelain Shire horses and a coordinating wooden brewery dray wagon. The Shire horses, model number 818, are finished in a dappled gray glaze and are outfitted in full black leather harnesses with silver-toned metal chains. The four-wheeled wooden wagon is painted in a green and red color scheme with yellow lettering for Greenall Whitley on the side panels. The lot includes four turned wood barrels and two wooden shafts. The underside of one horse bears a circular Beswick England stamp around a vent hole, accompanied by two hand-painted black lines.
