Endurance Art of Sport Muhammad Ali vs. Sonny Liston Limited Edition Sculpture - An Endurance Art of Sport hand-painted cold-cast resin sculpture titled The Greatest, commemorating the May 25, 1965, heavyweight title rematch between Muhammad Ali and Sonny Liston. The figure of Ali is depicted in white trunks with black stripes and red gloves, standing in a triumphant pose over a prone Sonny Liston wearing black trunks with a white stripe and red gloves. The composition recreates the iconic first-round knockout moment in Lewiston, Maine. The figures are set upon a rectangular textured base simulating a boxing ring canvas, mounted to a tiered wooden plinth with a dark finish. A metal plaque is affixed to the front of the base.
