Omega 9kt Yellow Gold Dress Watch Reference 526L - A vintage Omega dress watch featuring a solid 9kt yellow gold case and a manual wind movement. The silvered dial exhibits a distinctive cross-hatch linen texture with applied gold-toned baton hour markers and dauphine hands. The interior case back is stamped with Omega Watch Co, Fab. Suisse, and Swiss Made, alongside the maker mark D.S and S for D. Shackman and Sons. It also bears 9kt gold hallmarks including .375 and the case serial number 222325. The watch is mounted on a black textured leather strap with a gold-tone buckle featuring the Omega logo. This lot is accompanied by its original red velvet-lined presentation box and buff-colored outer cardboard box. Also included is a purchase receipt from Prestons Ltd in Bolton dated September 14, 1963, which lists the model as Gents 9kt Omega 526L. An Omega International Guarantee booklet is present but is dated 1971 and pertains to a different stainless steel model (Ref. ST 166.032), and is therefore not original to this timepiece.
