Kensington Potteries Ltd. Lusterware Ribbed Floral Vase - This is a ceramic lusterware vase produced by Kensington Potteries Ltd. of Burslem, England. The vessel features a horizontal ribbed or beehive form. The exterior is finished in a shaded iridescent luster glaze that transitions from rose pink at the rim to a cream color at the base. The front is decorated with a multi-colored floral spray, including a yellow lily and a blue anemone-style flower with green foliage. The base bears a black underglaze backstamp with the word KENSINGTON in an arc above a four-lobed knot motif containing the letters K, P, and B. Below the knot are the words WARE and ENGLAND. An impressed number 651 is visible on the underside.
