A Collection of Mid-19th Century Staffordshire Porcelain Tea and Coffee Wares with Copper Luster and Hand-Painted Genre Scenes - A collection of approximately 35 pieces of mid-19th-century porcelain tea and coffee wares, manufactured in the Staffordshire region of England. The set is decorated in a style featuring transfer-printed genre scenes of figures in rural and rustic landscapes, hand-colored with overglaze enamels in shades of blue, pink, and yellow. Each piece is finished with broad copper-luster borders containing scrolling foliate and floral motifs, with additional luster accents applied to the rims and handles. The service includes a large waste bowl on a saucer, two circular serving plates, and multiple trios consisting of a teacup, a saucer, and a small side plate. The underside of one piece features a single vertical tally mark in red enamel; no legible factory marks or logos are present. Serving plates diameter: approximately 9 - 10 inches.
